I found Dr. Young to be extremely competent, human, and friendly. She explained the surgery to me to my satisfaction, and even laughed when I suggested she might be too young to be an MD! She is very personable while being very competent and when I asked about her training ( something I'm afraid I almost always ask doctors!) willingly told me where she had studied. I appreciate knowing that background very much. She made me trust her ability to solve my eye problem because of her explanations of the procedure. I am going into this surgery anticipating a good experience and a good result- she impressed me. ( not am easy task. )

Dr. Young is so personable and easy to talk to. She is so capable and competent at her work, I completely trust her when she is looking at my kids¿ eyes. She was able to diagnose a condition in my son's eyes that had flummoxed two other eye doctors.

Wasn't pleased with bedside manner and I'm not one to usually leave a low review but please have better communication with little kiddos.

She is an amazing provider. We have been seeing her for the past 5 years. She is excellent with going kids. She provided treatment options and we could choose what was best for our family. We patched which has allowed us to avoid glasses.

She did a great job, was quick and took great care of my son.

Dr Payne was knowledgeable and quickly assessed my two year old's problem, which was a concern since he is not very verbal. She did not spend a lot of time explaining things to me or answering questions but did send us home with a printout that answered a lot of my questions.

Dr. Young is an amazing woman. She has helped my child so much and gave her the confidence she needs to walk in this world. Dr. Young is swift and accurate. She cares about her patients. I have to travel 6 hours to get to her office, but I do it because we trust her so much.

Dr Young clearly has a great deal of experience in her field and I appreciate the effort she is putting into my care. In true professional fashion she is also consulting a colleague regarding my complex case. I appreciate her and feel confident I have found the right physician to help me. Thank you Dr Young!

Dr Young is an awesome, knowledgeable doctor and surgeon. She did an awrsome job correcting my double vision. My world is better for sure. She has a great bedside manner and the just right amount of humor. I would recommend her highly!!

We love Dr Young. The kids listen to and like her, and the visits are short enough to keep their interest.

Short wait. Quick if you want her to be and patient in taking time to answer questions and explains thoroughly whenever needed. Great with kids!

She is amazing!!!! She show so much care and concern for my kids and they love her. We tell everyone about how great she is.

The doctor did not introduce herself, never even made eye contact. Just came and started a rushed, silent eye exam on my daughter. It actually took me a minute to figure out that she was the doctor. She spoke enough to do the eye exam, seemed very rushed, only whispered her findings to her assistant. It was a very cold, and frankly, odd interaction.

Dr Young is our favorite Dr for so many reasons. She has cared for two of our children since birth and has always cared deeply for them, their care plans and how their vision affects them both now and the future. She was very knowledgeable and did a thorough job of evaluating my child. I appreciated that. And I did appreciate her answers to my questions about the accuracy of her initial prescription and how important it is that I have her wear them day and night. I didn't know who all the team members were that came into the evaluation and it seems like they were students learning on the job. I would have liked to have been introduced to them so I knew what their roles were. I also wish I had more ideas with the Dr on how to fit the glasses better onto her face, especially since the person Julie wasn't able to help me.
