Offering Spiritual & Religious Comfort

During this time when visits are restricted to protect our patients from COVID-19, Huntsman Cancer Institute chaplains are on-site, visiting and supporting patients. Submit a request to have a chaplain visit with your loved one on your behalf.

Spirituality is where we find a sense of meaning, connection, and purpose. It can be a way to find hope and strength in difficult times. It may or may not involve a specific religion.

Many patients find comfort in spirituality during their treatment and healing. Some want to be sure their religious beliefs and customs are respected. Others want to make sense of their experience as a patient.

Chaplains and spiritual care volunteers at Huntsman Cancer Institute are available to visit patients and their loved ones in the hospital, whether to coordinate or provide support. Learn more about .

You can visit the Elyse Pantke White Chapel and Meditation Room on the 5th floor of Cancer Hospital South. This is a comfortable space for quiet reflection. Different religious services are held throughout the week. Find details below or ask your care team for more information.

Our spiritual care team has no religious agenda for you. Whatever your spiritual path, we honor and respect it鈥攕tanding ready to support you in a meaningful way.
