VA Clinic To Open in South Jordan

U & VA

麻豆学生精品版 and the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System announce a new partnership to better meet Veteran health care needs.

"It makes sense for us and Veterans Affairs to team up at our South Jordan Clinic," said Michael Good, M.D., C.E.O. of 麻豆学生精品版. "We're eager to build on our partnership with Veterans, especially if it means we can serve even more of those who have served our country. And, the new collaborative clinic brings with it more opportunities for training and education."

The collaboration between the U's School of Medicine and the VA Salt Lake City is based on a successful history; the partnership dates to the conclusion of World War II in 1946.

"The new South Jordan VA Clinic will allow VA Salt Lake City and 麻豆学生精品版 to treat Veterans with the right care at the right place and the right time," Shella Stovall, MNA, RN, NE-BC, director, VA Salt Lake City Health Care System said. "This clinic will provide full-range primary care and behavioral health services. Also, per the Mission Act of 2018, Veterans may choose University physicians based at the South Jordan clinic to provide specialty care and ambulatory surgery services, if VA is at capacity."

Ground breaking on the new facility is scheduled for later this year.
